Rather than lifting and relaying, a colour switch and reseal treatment works with your existing block paving, refreshing faded or stained blocks and re-sanding the joints where needed. It’s a cost-effective way to modernise or completely change the look of a driveway without the disruption of a full re-lay.

What the Treatment Involves

The process typically begins with a deep clean to lift dirt, moss and old jointing sand, followed by re-sanding the joints with a polymeric or kiln-dried sand to lock the blocks in place and deter weed growth. A coloured sealer is then applied, either restoring the original shade or switching to a new one, which also helps protect the surface from staining and UV fading going forward.
