Sometimes cleaning and repairs aren’t enough to bring a driveway back, particularly if the base has failed, the paving has shifted significantly, or the surface has simply reached the end of its useful life. In these cases, re-paving gives you a fresh start – lifting the old surface, addressing the ground beneath it, and laying a new one.

Getting the Foundations Right

A driveway is only as good as what’s underneath it. Re-paving gives us the opportunity to properly prepare the sub-base and drainage before the new surface goes down, which is often the difference between a driveway that lasts and one that doesn’t.

How Re-Paving Works

Re-paving usually starts with lifting and removing the existing surface, followed by an assessment and repair of the sub-base and drainage underneath – often the real cause of a driveway’s problems. Once the foundations are sound, the new surface is laid, whether that’s resin-bound, block paving or another material, and finished with edging to keep it looking sharp for years to come.
